Hi
Did you uninstall NinjaFirewall?
See the “Blank page after UNINSTALLING NinjaFirewall” section at http://nintechnet.com/ninjafirewall/wp-edition/help/?troubleshooting
Hello and thank you for your reply.
I have checked both locations and the code in question was not in my htaccess file and did not see a php.ini file in the folder.
Could it be that I am doing something incorrectly?
Hi
The NinjaFirewall directive is inside your “.user.ini” file, e.g., http://YOUR-BLOG.TLD/.user.ini
I have deleted the information in the user.ini file and still get this as an error:
Warning: Unknown: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0
Fatal error: Unknown: Failed opening required ‘/home/affinityusa1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ninjafirewall/lib/firewall.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php54/usr/share/pear:/opt/alt/php54/usr/share/php’) in Unknown on line 0
Any thoughts on next steps?
Is this your website: affinityincmagazine(dot)com?
If it is, I still can see the firewall directive inside the .user.ini file.
You can delete this file.
I have done this and I still get this message:
Warning: Unknown: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0
Fatal error: Unknown: Failed opening required ‘/home/affinityusa1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ninjafirewall/lib/firewall.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php54/usr/share/pear:/opt/alt/php54/usr/share/php’) in Unknown on line 0
Based on the advice in the nintechnet, I have removed the plugin folder as well, but no luck.
Any other ideas?
The .user.ini file is still accessible from a browser, that’s very odd.
Maybe there is a cache?
Can you ask your host to help you to permanently delete it?
It is “/home/affinityusa1/public_html/.user.ini”.
Hi,
I’m having the exact same problem on my store.
Please help!

I deleted .user.ini and restored php.ini already…
Hi,
You need to wait a few minutes. Your PHP interpreter seems to be setup to reload INI files every 5 minutes or so, not immediately. There is nothing to do, that will go away after a couple of minutes.
