Site down – fatal error with capabilities.php

    Hi all,

    My site has gone down without an obvious precipitant. As far as I am aware, no changes have been made recently.

    I am unable to access any page on the front end or the administrative side, and am faced with the error message:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_current_user() …/html/wp-includes/capabilities.php on line 1201

    Any help greatly appreciated!
