Hi, this plugin is great, but we’re experiencing a less that desirable issue where the site HTML will flash unstyled prior to rendering as it should when you initially arrive on the site. Here’s a 12 second screencast of this happening: http://d.pr/v/ScKc. Or you can go to test.salesgenie.com to see it.

The main parent theme stylesheet and the child theme stylesheet are both minified in the header, so they should be downloaded prior to the site HTML, but that doesn’t appear to the case. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hmm all of your stylesheets are currently in the footer I think. Can you re-check?

There are a few in the footer, but they appear to be stylesheets that come with WordPress. Please see the screenshot. The outlined stylesheets are the only ones the plugin says are in the footer.

What I’m seeing right now in the source of https://test.salesgenie.com/ is a huge chunk of inline CSS at the top but all other css at the bottom. Are you using a html caching plugin?

The host (WordPress Engine) and the theme (Jupiter) both have caching built in. There are no cache plugins though. I have cleared the both the theme and host caches, and am looking for a way to disable the theme cache, but the flashing still persists.

Can you try moving all footer css to header?

In your plugin or the theme? I’ve went through the theme, it doesn’t appear to have an option to do that.

I believe I have this squared away. I selected all the CSS files that were associated with the theme, and then set them to “stay at original position”, and that seems to have fixed the flickering. I’m going to close the ticket for now. Thanks for your help.

Instead of “stay at original position”, have you tried moving them to the header?

I did try moving them to the header. The flickering was still present. Actually some pages still have the flickering now even with having the CSS files set to stay at their original positions.
