Site index failure
-
My small WordPress site was created several years ago, with WordPress installed at the first level below public_html. File index.txt, located in public_html, is as the example given at github.com/WordPress/WordPress/blob/master/index.php .
To access the site’s contents, visitors must enter http://www.mysite.org.au/Worpress . Using just http://www.mysite.org.au (without ‘WordPress’ appended) simply lists the contents of public_html.Obviously I’ve done something stupid, but in the absence of a local expert I’m not sure what question to ask of whom. Could some kind person please point me to the track I need to follow?
TIA
