• Hey,

My site is indexed using http and https. I have specified in the wordpress settings to use http and have a http canonical in place. I also checked any internal links and can’t find any links with https. I then recieved an email this morning from wordpress saying:

Hiya! Your site at https://www.ryanscollon.co.uk has been updated automatically to WordPress 4.5.3.

No further action is needed on your part. For more on version 4.5.3, see the About WordPress screen:

If you experience any issues or need support, the volunteers in the ww.wp.xz.cn support forums may be able to help.

    Any ideas?

Hi, you can redirect all user from https to http by configuring appropriate 301 redirect in .htaccess file

That is not possible. I’ve just noticed that the indexed https pages seem to have all internal links changed to https too. I have changed the theme to see if it is that and it is still showing https in the internal links on those specific pages.

What the URLs are displaying in Settings->General?

The urls are showing as http. I have checked the whole website and I can’t find a single trace of https in the WordPress dashboard.

For example, this is one of the pages that it indexed as https:

    http://www.ryanscollon.co.uk/my-story/
    https://www.ryanscollon.co.uk/my-story/

If you view the page source code for the https version, every single internal link including images is changed to https
