Use your ftp client and remove the theme that caused it to crash. Then go to: //yoursite.com/wp-admin and log in. The default theme should then kick back in.

Now is working.
The reason that I changed the theme because my index page does not working. Others (subpages) is OK.
Any solution for this?
I don’t know what could be causing that issue. If you have a backup copy from when the page was working, you could try replacing the file with the backup copy. That might work.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I just had the same problem with my site crashing tonight after using a newly installed theme, and I almost panicked! Got on this forum, saw your posting, used your advice by logging into my host server and deleting themes I either wasn’t using or had recently tried out. I went back to using my old standard that I am used to, and voila, your suggestion worked and my site is up and running again! Phew!
