Having noted the 3rd FAQ on the plugin page. Does this plugin work with Site Kit or should Site Kit be uninstalled?

Also, any issues with caching? WP Fastest Cache.

I’m asking because there is a big difference between orders / products purchased in Woo and what is showing in Analytics.

  • Hi @gwcm,

Regarding Site Kit, the Google Analytics for WooCommerce plugin should work alongside Site Kit, but it might be better to disable Site Kit’s Google Analytics feature to avoid any potential conflicts. You don’t necessarily need to uninstall Site Kit, but disabling the Analytics integration within Site Kit may help prevent double tracking.

As for caching issues, caching plugins like WP Fastest Cache can sometimes cause discrepancies in analytics data. Caching might prevent the Google Analytics tracking code from firing properly, leading to missing or inaccurate data in your Analytics reports. To avoid this, make sure that you exclude the pages where the Google Analytics script is loaded from being cached. This includes the checkout and order confirmation pages.

It would be a good idea to test by temporarily disabling WP Fastest Cache or excluding the necessary pages from caching to see if this resolves the issue with Analytics data not matching the WooCommerce orders/products.
