Site Kit Analytics Refusal

    Hi,

    I installed Site kit but no Analytics data. The website GAChecker doesn’t find any tracking code and I found this in the HTML code :

    Hi @hatannoka,

    Thanks for reaching out. While I can’t be sure how the GAChecker website works I did check your site using the tagassistant.google.com service and using Chrome’s developer tools. From doing so it does look like there may be something blocking tracking, as you’ve referenced.

    If you’d like to share your Site Health information I’d be happy to check this further. I notied a coYou can use this form to share privately if preferred.

    My first thought is your non tracking could be due to a configuration with your Cookie Notice plugin. Once we have the above we can advise further. Feel free to temporarily deactivate this plugin if you wish, at which point I can perform some additional checks. Let me know if you have any questions.

    I’ve since deactivate my cookie plugin wich is Cookie Notice & Compliance for GDPR / CCPA.

    Thanks for the update and apologies for the late response. I’ve checked your site and I can also see my visit doesn’t seem to be recording. In order to troubleshoot this further can you temporary deactivate your cookie plugin and also W3 Total Cache? After doing so let me know and I’ll perform some additional checks.

    Hi @hatannoka,

    That was it! I can now see your site is tracking as expected, from both manual checks and from using tagassistant.google.com.

    So you can ensure all plugins work together as expected have you tried resetting both W3 Total Cache and your Cookie plugin to their default configuration, before checking your tracking each time using the Analytic real time report or the tagassistant.google.com service?

    No I didn’t, but I would definitely do that. Now that I know where the problem come from I will start from there and adapt.
