Error: We’ve detected there’s already an existing Analytics tag on your site (ID UA-173484991-12), but your account doesn’t seem to have access to this Analytics property. You can either remove the existing tag and connect to a different account, or request access to this property from your team.

This is the error that I get after installing and activating the site kit by google. I need help.

Thanks for reaching out, hopefully we’ll be of assistance. From inspecting your site it looks like you have an additional plugin active with Analytics features. If you’d like to share your Site Health information using this form I’d be happy to try and help determine the source of the additional snippets.

An alternative to removing the referenced snippet is to also provide access to the Google account which you’ve used to setup Site Kit. If you know the Google account or contact with access to that property you access can be granted from analytics.google.com.

Thanks for sharing. It looks like you have Monster Insights already deactivated. Can you temporarily deactivate your “Head, Footer and Post Injections” plugin before attempting to connect the Analytics module once more?

If that fails here is a guide on checking your theme configuration for the existence of any manually inserted snippet.

Please inform me how you get on after checking the above.

@writerz since we have not heard from you, I will mark your topic as resolved. Please feel free to reach out in a new support topic if you have any further questions.
