Hi JuanPa,

This notice isn’t Site Kit specific. It sounds like your website at the time of you posting this support topic cannot communicate with it’s associated database somehow. From looking at your site at present it seems to load fine. Have you since found a solution or do you encounter errors from the admin panel?

Hello:

I checked everything with my hosting provider and there are no problems with database, just in case we troubleshoot something but problem persists.
I also tried running Site kit on safe mode and problem persists.
When I try to access site kit I constantly receive the message “Error establishing a database connection” only when I try to access he plugin. If I try several times it goes trough and then I receive the error “Data error in Analytics

Error establishing a database connection
”.

On this links you can see the errors:
First Error: https://imgur.com/CYSsAGL
Second Error: https://imgur.com/QfiAaU5

This errors only show when accessing Site kit plugin with all other plugins I have no problems.

Please let me know what to do.

Thank you

Many thanks for sharing the screenshots, very useful. If you’d like to share the following information I can see if there is anything we can determine which is causing this issue, which may be as a result of particular database tables:

1. At what stage is the final URL displaying the error appearing as per this screenshot? I can see the Site Kit dashboard in one of your errors but I’m wondering how you encounter the full page notice.
2. Do you see any notices or critical errors when checking your Site Health status?
3. Have you tried uninstalling Site Kit and installing once more?

Let me know if you have any questions on the above.

Thanks for your speedy response! One of your screenshots is very useful, it looks like the final URL whereby you encounter the database points to a auxin-welcome endpoint, which I’m unfamiliar with. Based on the information provided let’s ensure there are no plugins impacting Site Kit operations. Please follow the steps below:

1. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
2. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
3. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google”
4. Attempt to view your Site Kit dashboard once more

You can exit troubleshooting mode afterwards. If the same issue persists please share your Site Health information via this form and I’ll inspect your setup.

Unfortunately problem persists even in troubleshoot mode, I just send you the filled form.

Hi JuanPa,

Thanks for sharing. I noticed you’re using the WP Reset plugin, which may have resulted in changed to your database, including to the tables which Site Kit uses. Can you try and reset Site Kit via “Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit” before following the setup process once more? If the error persists please share any browser console errors on the same screen with the error message.

James:
I disabled WP Reset and reseted site kit.

Unfortunately problem persists.
Problem started when I setup Analytics. You can see the console errors on the images attached.

Thanks for sharing the additional insights. I think we’ve gathered enough information now to discuss this with the team for any further insights, appreciate you providing all the screenshots.

It make take a couple of working days before I have an update for you on this unfortunately.

If you do want to perform additional checks which can help rule out particular database or table issues you could create another WordPress administrator. After doing so login to your site with this new administrator account and try to setup Site Kit using this account. When requested setup the plugin with a separate Google account to the one previously used. This can help rule out any corrupt user or user table issues.

Let me know how you get on after performing the checks above, while I’ll also keep you updated once I talk to the team regarding the information you provided.

@jpvasquezv Sincere apologies we never got back to you on this. It seems the support topic was marked as resolved somehow, something we failed to notice when reviewing open topics.

Can you share whether the issue remains when checking the Site Kit dashboards? We did perform some testing and we were able to encounter the same, although inconsistently. In our case we were only able to recreate when using the same hosting platform.
