Site kit set up problem

    Hi everíbody, I’m having trouble setting up Site Kit.
    I just started my homepage after long time ago (I was building it slowly).
    I’m the owner of the site, it’s connected on Google analyitics, but site kit is verifying ownership, and says that “verifying site with META failed”. META?
    What should I do? On Google analitycs I see the reports, what can be a problem I cannot connect with Site Kit?

    Hi @kata21,

    Thanks for reaching out. So we can determine more on this and ensure you are able to complete Site Kit set up please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. Does the same occur if you attempt Site Kit set up from a Chrome browser incognito window?
    3. Do you see any warnings or errors when checking your Site Health status (Tools > Site Health > Status), which differs from your Site Health information requested above? Such errors may include REST endpoint references.

    Note that one workaround for this error which you’re encountering, is to manually verify your site on Search Console, before then connecting Site Kit. What’s happening in your case is something is blocking Site Kit from verifying ownership of your site. Once we have the information above we can advise on this further.
