    Hi @gdw4471,

Thanks for reaching out. From reviewing your site I can see your homepage is not valid, leading to a 404 page at present. This may be due to theme related issues, your htaccess file, server or plugin configurations or something else.

Note also that even without using Site Kit you won’t be able to perform a performance check on your homepage using PageSpeed Insights until your homepage is working as expected. You’ll see from this recording it’s a 404 page at present and when using the web version of PageSpeed Insights, the service is unable to reach your site.

Once you address any issues causing your homepage to be unavailable you will be able to run a check using Site Kit’s PageSpeed Insights module. The first check I would suggest you to perform is to revisit your sites permalinks page (Settings > Permalinks). This can be used to refresh your htaccess file.

    Hi @gdw4471,

Now that you’ve changed themes I can see your homepage working as expected. Can you login to your site from a Chrome browser incognito window and perform another PageSpeed Insights test?

Yes Was able to get in through secure search. I did not notice incognito search when I searched my site.

The Speed is working again. I guess I learned my lesson from changing Themes. Thank you very much.

Glad to hear it @gdw4471. Be sure to reach out if you have any further queries. Note also that you should be able to select any theme, the issue you were facing may be due to customizations or htaccess file issues. While not a Site Kit specific issue, if you do run into any theme specific issues, you may wish to get in touch with your theme provider.

Best of luck with your site going forward, and thank you for using Site Kit.
