I’m not quite sure what’s really happening but are there any other people that only receive like 50-70% of the conversions ( specifically the purchase conversion but say add_to_cart seems to be working correctly ) when site kit is running the gtags and 100% of the conversions when you either do it manually or use the woocommerce google analytics plugin?

We’re not getting enough conversions for me to really get to the bottom of what’s happening but the few we’re getting, it gets really annoying since we’re growing and that data is super necessary.

Anyways, some input would be really helpful. If you’ve gone through the same issue, what was your final decision/solution? I’m on the verge of deleting this …… and going manual but I like the visuals in the plug and ga4 can be overwhelming when you just want a quick morning glance.

Everything else seems to be on point except the purchase conversion and I’d be looking at the theme if the same thing was happening when gtags are added manually but it’s not.

Something to note: I just integrated GMC reviews on the site and that is working fine but now that I think about it, we haven’t seen a single conversion log since then. I did integrate GMC reviews manually instead of using a plug but it’s working so I don’t think I screwed anything up.

Hi @artsoulbrother thanks for getting in touch.

The plugin doesn’t include WooCommerce specific functionality. You could implement your own event tracking using Tag Manager if you wish, with some details added to the plugin website.

You can also use Site Kit if you have Analytics inserted on your site via other means, such as a WooCommerce specific plugin that tracks all related events. Site Kit can use a third party placed Analytics snippet to show you data within the Site Kit dashboard.

Let me know if you have any further questions on this.

Thanks for the response. Ya that makes sense, I must of had some event tracking set up at some point as it seemed that site kit was tracking conversion data. Sweet, ya I’ll just use it for visuals.
