    Hi,

    I try to complete the Analytics setup on my Site Kit for a couple of months at least and it doesn’t work. I still get this message : Error: {“error”:”invalid ‘redirectUri'”}

I’ve read multiple topics here on this problem and I tried unsintalling, reseting the plugin, nothing works. What is odd is that I completed the setup for AdSense and it worked. Only the Analytics part doesn’t.

Can you help me find a solution ? Thanks

Thanks for reaching out @camilleakp. So we can determine more on how you encountered this error, please share the following|:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. What is the full URL on the page where you land back on when encountering this message? I ask as it may contain a site reference from a previous attempt, or even from another wp-admin path or domain if these was changed from a previous setup.
    3. Do you recall having set up Site Kit previously on this site? If so it may have been from a different URL before migrating, when using a different wp-admin path, or from a staging site.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

    Hi, thanks for your answer.

    1. I sent you yesterday my Site Health Information, did you get it ?
    2. This is the URL i land back on when the error occurs : https://katy-perry.fr/wp-admin/admin.php?page=googlesitekit-dashboard&slug=analytics-4&reAuth=true&notification=authentication_success
    3. I had Site Kit before on this site and I moved from a hosting provider to another, but it was always the same domain name.

    Thanks again 🙂

@camilleakp Thanks for sharing the information. When checking your site further and trying to amend the callback URL to use ‘wp-admin’ instead of ‘wp-login’ I receive the following page warning:

You should first check this with your hosting provider to see if this can be disabled as I suspect this might be why you’re encountering these issues when trying to set up Analytics in Site Kit.

Please do let me know if you continue to face these issues after this and I will be happy to continue to troubleshoot this with you.

    Hi,

I’ve asked my hosting provider and the changed the security but it still doesn’t work. I still get the same error message and i land back on the same URL as before.

    Thanks, Camille

@camilleakp Thanks for trying this and sorry to hear that you are still facing this issue. Could you please try performing a Site Kit reset at this stage and attempt setup once more? Are you able to complete the setup or do you encounter the same problem and error message?

@andresgaona If you could open a new support topic we will be happy to assist you individually with this.
