Site Map Error due to WP Super Cache Plugin.

My site pixelbox.in was working fine until I installed “Wp Super Cache” plugin. The site became faster. But on flip side it created new problems and affected search results and I uninstalled.
When I resubmitted the Sitemap file to Google, it’s giving this error “Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead.”
I have deleted the files of Super Cache plugin but I am not sure if the error is due to any left over codes of WP Super Cache or something else ? Your response would be valued.
