Site Migration New Hosting

I am trying to launch a new website (using the same domain) and switched the hosting to Bluehost. I recently pointed the name servers to the new host and uploaded files containing the new website. The name servers have propagated but the old WordPress site, being hosting at another provider, is still live. Not sure why this is the case or how to reslve this?
