Site not accepting changes

    I have four websites grouped sithin a central hub site. I haven’t updated anything for a while, but on trying now I find that the edit changes that I make through the dashboard are not holding. They neither persist in the editing screen after I update, nor do they show up on the live page itself.

    I also tried to deactivate one of the four sites but that has not had any effect. It does show on the dashboard sites list as deleted though.

    I haven’t updated my WP version because the last time I tried it screwed my system completely and I had to restore it whole. I would like to solve this problem without risking that again.

    Wait, so you update in admin and changes don’t even stay there?

    If you are making changes in admin and you do not see them in your browser, often times it’s simply a cache issue.

    Thanks Gabe,

    I don’t think it is a cache issue because the update isn’t going on to the live site either. When I tried it elsewhere this problem also affected a site that I had not previously updated. I suspect that it is something located within the hosted platform.

    Deleting the site did work its way through to the server eventually, but leaves me unable to change the other three.
