Site not working

Runned with Autooptimize on website/webshop a long time, suddently it did not work with theme. It could not load, so we just missed 1000$ sale.
After trouble shooting the problem, site worked fine as long as I de-activated Autootimize plugin.

OK, some questions to begin with;
* what were your autoptimize settings (were JS & CSS & HTML & Images optimized? do you have Critical CSS active?)
* were you able to open the homepage? if not OK; what did you see? do you have a screenshot?
* if homepage worked, was there an issue with adding to basket or with checkout?
* were there any errors visible in the browser?
* do you find any relevant errors in the PHP errorlog?

Admin side stopped working correctly with this release. Submenus don’t automatically open, metaboxes malfunction, screen options won’t work. Etc.

AO does not optimize the admin side kwoodall, so unsure what could be happening here?
