Hi, I started a grassroots organization. There are 2 writers, one who has contributed 1 article and another who has yet to contribute. That’s it. Me and 2 writers. We do not ask for donations, we don’t charge for subscriptions and we can’t do any of these things until we get a treasurer in place. We are under the Indivisible.org umbrella, when we can afford to fundraise and have a treasurer in place, we will be purchasing the complete jetpack. But right now it’s just me, doing all the work, no money, not being paid, money coming out of my pocket and I am disabled, so there isn’t much to begin with.

Are you really going to insist I get a commercial package right now?

    Hi there, @msjudy,

I have reviewed your site, and I can see that the site has been marked as commercial as it offers services which seems to be on a paid basis, for example on this page: https://rescueourdemocracy.com/services/.

Free stats plans are for truly personal sites only; asking commercial sites to pay is the only way we can keep this feature available to people who run hobby blogs and similar. We would be happy to see you upgrading to a Complete plan (it’d mean your site is doing great!) but otherwise we cannot make exceptions.

If you don’t make any revenue out of these services, you can clarify this on the site. On the other hand, if you do make any revenue out of such services, you will need to upgrade to a paid plan to continue using Jetpack stats. You can check out our help article for more information.

Alternatively, you can still use the Free Jetpack core plugin, keeping in mind that some Stats views are hidden under the paywall.

Hope that’s all clear 🙂 Let us know if you have other questions or if there’s anything else we can do to help!
