Site slows down during updraft plus backup

    Every night at 9 pm when my updraft plus backup runs, my site slows to a crawl. Speeds back up when it is done. How can i fix it?

    I mean unusable slow for 28 minutes. Anyone that visits the site at that time would surely hit the back button.

    Can you please get a copy of error_logs from your host?

    Which log are you looking for specifically? Updraft plus log or some other site log?

    And is the Pastbin publicly accessible? I am concerned about posting potentially sensitive information.

    Sorry for the delay!

    I mean server’s error logs, You can contact your host for the same.

    This was the reply from my host.

    We are happy to help. You may access cPanel >> Metrics >> Errors but for specific server logs, these require root. Are you seeing a problem we can investigate or advise which logs you require at this time?

    Ignore the part where they ask to investigate. I already have a ticket for that and they are not being helpful so far.

    Can you be more specific what error logs are needed?
