    Hi,

    We’re running into some issues with our site, and I’m exploring our options.

    Is it possible to take (keep) our domain that’s already tied to a WordPress site, and start over fresh with a new WordPress site on a different webhost?

    The main issue is our current host has a PHP limit and we cannot update our WordPress version and plugins correctly. It would be nice if we could keep all of our existing content and migrate to a new host server that would allow us to update our site. Is anyone familiar with this, and if so, can you provide some details/options?

    Yes, there are several plugins that can help you do this. Check each for the PHP version you need for the old site.

    You probably need to install the same version of WP that you have on the old one, so that the migration works correctly (there could be database changes between versions). Once it’s migrated, you can update WP and plugins.
