• I built a wordpress site on cocainetreatment.jhctest.com with the intention of moving it to cocainetreatment.info. Once the site was complete we pointed the DNS for cocainetreatment.jhctest.com to cocainetreatment.info and the page populated.

However, all links on the page are redirecting back to cocainetreatment.jhctest.com site.

    Couple questions:
    1. Is there a quick fix for this?
    2. is there a better way to build the site off site, that will avoid this problem?

    Thank you

    1) Search and replace in the database for the old domain name :/

    2) Alas, only one. Setting up your local PC to redirect the ‘right’ domain to your PC. Which … I’ve never done.

    Thanks.

    Quick follow up questions:

When I put the/wp-admin at the end of cocainetreatment.info to log in, it redirects me to cocainetreatment.jhctest.com/wp-admin. WordPress is uploaded on both sites. Not sure if I am missing something on the install?

    Thanks

Are these both *single* WordPress installs?

(you’re in the multsite forum, which does not mean multiple installs. It means the multisite feature. Yes, this makes difference in a lot of answers…)

I am using a *single* wordpress install. Will search the install form, sorry.

    Thanks.
