Site URL Password Protected

    We are trying to use this plugin, Nextend FB Connect and have everything setup but our development server has basic authentication on it while being built for security reasons. On the Facebook App Setup it asks for the site url which we put in but how will it work with the password protection on it? Do we need to make an exception in our htaccess file?
