site will not load with plugin active

    Hi. I have used PageBuilder by SiteOrigin for a long time on several sites. Not had any issues before.

    Problem: A week or two ago one of my sites would not load. Error 500. I disabled all plugins from cPanel File Manager. With PageBuilder alone activated the home page, the site, will not load. The page does not render, just “spins”.
    – site had been fine, do not know what changed
    – it is a BuddyPress site
    – theme: Sydney

    I don’t know what changed, the source of any changes, that may have occurred.
    I am not WP or tech knowledgeable.
    I am redesigning with a different theme, etc., to get back online. There is a maintenance page up right now.

    I will be glad to restore the old design and activate the plugin when needed.

    Tried some other things, think it’s working. Or will. My mistake!
