    Hello everyone.

    I have a major problem with my site.

    I cannot seem to get any AdSense data in Sitekit. An error message comes up saying ‘Ad blocker detected; please disable it to get the latest AdSense data’.

    Same thing with Monster Insights I can’t get any Insights data on there and a similar message about adblocker pops up.

    The thing is, I don’t use anything that could block ads. My site has been working well with AdSense for over a year. Now, this issue has even stopped my ads from being displayed on the desktop version of my site! I’m losing out on ad income 🙁

    Can someone help? I’ve looked everywhere for support and there seems to be no solution to this problem.

  • You may have an ad blocker or privacy tool in your browser, computer, or even network.

    This has nothing to do with WordPress.

    Open the SiteKit or MonsterInsights screen where you’re seeing the adblocker message, and check your browser console. Do you see any “BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT” errors? That should confirm a local blocker… from your browser, computer or network.

    Nope. It’s all clean. I don’t use any adblockers. I even tried different network connections and in incognito.

    Like I said it was fine for over a year.

    I had this problem before and it just fixed itself after 2-3 days. However, I’m losing out on ad income because of this.

    Might have to contact AdSense but I’m sure it will take ages to get a response.

    My bad George. You was right.

    It was a Free VPN chrome extension that was blocking the ads.

    Good job and thanks for you help.
