    Hello, sorry for my English.

I currently have an issue with SiteKit plugin on a wordpress website. The plugin is installed, everything looks good with the green checkmarks but no feedback on Analytics.

Previously, we used the “GA Google Analytics” plugin from Jeff Star. This plugin is actually disabled.

    I don’t know what’s the current problem.

    Thanks in advance,

Thanks for reaching out @communicationjdp. If you’d like to share the following, we’d be happy to assist with this:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. When setting up Site Kit, did you select a new Google Analytics account or property, or did you select an account and property that already has data?
    3. If you click on the ”Source: Analytics” link within the Site Kit dashboard, do you see any recent data from the Analytics directly? I ask as Site Kit pulls information from a users Analytics account and displays it within the plugin dashboard.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Thank you.

    Thank you.

    1. I completed the form

    2. To configure, I took over the existing Analytics and account but it stopped taking the data.

Thanks for sharing @communicationjdp. From checking your site at present, I can see that Analytic snippet that is placed by Site Kit is placed and working as intended.

What I suspect is happening, based on you having already enabled consent mode, is that you may have visitors to your site from within the EEU, who are either not granting consent within your Cookie Notice & Compliance for GDPR / CCP plugin, or that this plugin is not configured to work with consent mode.

To troubleshoot this further, you can temporarily disable consent mode within Site Kit, and then visit your site while not logged in. After doing so, check to ensure your own site visits are being recorded in the Google Analytics real time reporting tool.

Note that with consent mode, users need to ensure visitors to their site to grant consent to be recorded in Analytics traffic, in particular for visitors within the EEU and UK. You’ll find out more about how this works by visiting the below guide:

Thank you, it’s seems work now after disabling the consent mode on SiteKit :https://imgur.com/a/Y99nP7s

So, for now, the only option is to let this option disabled ?

    Nice find @communicationjdp.

You can enable consent mode once more and ensure that visitors to your site from the EEU are tracked when they grant consent using your consent management plugin. By default, with consent mode enabled, they won’t be tracked. This is to comply with recent Digital Markets Act (DMA) changes.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.
