I am trying to install SiteKit but getting the following message “Looks like Site Kit is unable to place or detect tags on your site. This can be caused by using certain caching or maintenance mode plugins or your site’s frontend is configured on a different host or infrastructure than your administration dashboard.

Thanks for reaching out @jobenson789. I suspect the warning you’re encountering prior to setting up Site Kit may be as a result of a conflict with a caching or optimization feature possibly at host level. So we can determine more on this and ensure you can complete set up, please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. Does the same occur if you follow the troubleshooting steps here?

Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Note that we also have more information on the plugin website in relation to this error.

As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.
