Sitemap 404 error google console

    Hello.
    I’m having problem with yoast seo siutemap since 24/8/22.
    It cannot be fetced by google console due to 404 errors in sitemap.
    I have checked the subcategories in sitemap and they are all seemed to be fine.
    robots.txt and firewall aren’t blocking google from crawling.
    It has happened before with your plugin but it was fixed by itself…i think.
    Yoast version is 19.6.1.
    Could you please help me?

    Hello Promitheas,

    I am sorry to learn that Google Search Console could not fetch your sitemap due to 404 errors in the sitemap. We’ll like some more information:

    1. Does Google provide any information about the URLs that return a 404?
    2. Are you submitting the correct sitemap URL of sitemap_index.xml?
    3. Does the URL inspection tool‘s live test show any errors with the sitemap URL? If yes, please resolve the errors.
    4. Did you submit the sitemap to the Google Search Console profile that matches the preferred URL format, including HTTP(s) and www or non-www?
