I’ve installed jetpack sitemap but Google can’t read it. I’m not sure what to check. The only thing I noticed is that edgereporter.com/sitemap returns both sitemap.xml and sitemap_1.XML.(The latter is what I first had to submit)

http://edgereporter.com/sitemap.xml seems to be working properly.

Make sure that you provide only that URL to Google, it’s the index and Google will do the rest of the work from there.
