How do I edit the sitemap the plugin generates?

I want to set a priority on the links which it contains?

    Thanks

    Hello!

The priority index is deprecated, and most search engines will ignore it. We hold no proof on its efficacy.

But, when you enable it, TSF will automatically determine its value relatively based on a best-guess while honoring the sitemaps protocol. For performance reasons, there’s no way to modify this value.

Thanks for letting me know. My issue is that it’s putting the 6 search links as very random ones.

What do you recommend to fix this? I want my categories to show as it’s a shop

    Hi again!

The priority index shouldn’t affect that. I’m not sure where these links might be coming from, do you have a URL for me to inspect? You might want to deindex these search links if another plugin or theme generates them, you may be able to do that via the global indexing settings at “SEO Settings > Robots Meta Settings > Indexing > Post Type Settings”.

For various reasons, archives aren’t in the sitemap of TSF. TSF is a very strict plugin in some aspects because of technical (performance) limitations, and because many features (like a sitemap) are useless for SEO, anyway 🙂
