I have generated sitemap.xml manually. How to replace my current existing sitemap by generated with your plugin. Do I need import my current sitemap someway or it’s generate sitemap automatically ?

Upon activating Yoast SEO, it will automatically generate an XML sitemap which can be found at yourwebsite.com/sitemap_index.xml

You do not have to import your old sitemap, but we do recommend submitting the sitemap built by Yoast SEO to the search engines.
