Hi @billalben
We checked your sitemap (https://homeperfumeweb.com/sitemap_index.xml) and we do see that all of the sub-sitemaps are loading as expected (however, we did note that the e-landing-page, elementskit_template, and elementskit_widget sitemaps didn’t have any listed URLs, so you may want to consider removing from the sitemap)
It’s to be expected that the /sitemap_index.xml URL shouldn’t be valid for a URL inspection test as it shouldn’t be indexed.
We recommend that you remove all of your existing sitemaps, resubmit only /sitemap_index.xml and then check and monitor in the next couple of days and check if the sitemap status updates and then you can also check if your URLs can be fetched and processed – https://yoast.com/help/submit-sitemap-search-engines/#google-remove
Hello @mikes41720
Thank you so much for your reply.
I did all your recommendations, I removed e-landing-page, elementskit_template, and elementskit_widget sitemaps.
And I removed the old sitemap and I resubmitted it.
But the same problem still there.
I will waiting the next couple of days to see if the state of the sitemap will change.
Thanks a lot again.
Kind Regards
Hi,
Yes, upon checking, we do see that those sub-sitemaps have been removed. We’re glad to hear that you tried removing and resubmitting the /sitemap_index.xml in Google Search Console. It might take some time for Google to recrawl the sitemap and provide an updated fetch status and if it’s able to read the URLs in the sitemap, so please do check and monitor for that.
Hi @mikes41720
Thank you so much for your follow-up.
I resubmit it, and the status still as “Couldn't fetch”.
I'll check it after couple coming days if it will change.
Also, I'll update you.
@billalben Thanks for your reply and please let us know if the issue still isn’t resolved after a few days.
We are going ahead and marking this issue as resolved due to inactivity. If you require any further assistance please create a new issue.
Hello @devnihil
Thank you so much for your time.
The issue now is revolvered, and the index state changed to “success”.
Thanks again.
