    Hello, i’ve been having the following issue with Google Search Console for several weeks now.

    Whenever i try to submit my sitemap i get the following error : Sitemap is HTML

    https://agulka.gr/sitemap_index.xml

    I’ve completely disabled my cache but issue still exists and the health check plugin doesn’t report anything extraordinary as mentioned in your How to guides.

    Any ideas ? I can’t get my site indexed for weeks now and it’s getting annoying.

    Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    This is how your Sitemap is looking at this moment in Firefox:
    https://i.rankmath.com/jM1EVN

    It should look like this:
    https://i.rankmath.com/wjiFSZ

    Can you please follow these steps?
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/xXXhDt

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

    That should fix the issue.

    If not, and assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins, themes, and WordPress (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
