Hi @therock2018 ,
The plugin creates only XML sitemap. The URL for the sitemap is yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml. Perhaps, the HTML sitemap comes from another plugin. Can you please check that again?
Hello. I am also suffering from this symptom.
My sitemap.xml has the following wording, generated by SlimSEO.
“This XML Sitemap Index file contains 10 sitemaps. Generated by Slim SEO.”
I also checked the source, but it has a normal HTML document structure.
<html>
<head>...</head>
<body>
<main>
<h1>XML Sitemap</h1>
<div class="list">...</div>
<div class="info">...</div>
</main>
</html>
I would be grateful if you could check the operation of the plug-in.
Best Regards.
@cck23 Can I see your site URL?
@cck23, I see the sitemap URL https://cinemagene.com/sitemap.xml doesn’t work. And when viewing page source, I see the meta tags generated are different from Slim SEO. Are you using another SEO plugin?
If no, please try going to Settings > Permalinks and save the page to update the permalink structure. Then try visiting the sitemap URL again.
Hello @rilwis, Thank you for confirmation.
Curiously, sitemap.xml was only visible to login users.
Anyway, I saw the site map generated below.
https://cinemagene.com/sitemap.xml/?swcfpc=1
We apologize for the inconvenience, and would appreciate it if you could check it again.
Best Regards.
@cck23 Looks like you’re using a cache plugin. Please clear the cache and try again.
