    hello as i set the sitemap with pages and category for being indexed on google, but webmaster tool also indexed and crawling my personal pages, just like – wp-content/theme, which showing me an 500 server error, like i said i only added pages and post, in sitemap. plz help

    Hi,

    i had a 500 error and solved it by doing the following:

    1 – If you go into wordpress -> settings and update your permalinks by just saving this fixed the issue of the 500 error.

    The issue i am having is that the 500 error is fixed but my sitemap does shows a 404 error when i try load it again?
