    Thanks for using Yoast SEO.

    I understand you want to remove the x-robots-tag: noindex, follow header from your sitemap index. This is intentionally added, and we do not have a setting in the plugin UI to remove it.

    XML sitemaps are meant for bots, not humans. A noindex, nofollow means your sitemap will not be found in search engine results. However, this doesn’t mean bots are blocked. They are still able to scan the URLs in it and add them to their index. If you check any of the URLs in the sitemap, they are all index, follow.
