    Hello,
    We submitted sitemap last year for our church website ([ redundant link removed ]) but it is only showing 4 urls (https://prnt.sc/sjy1gh) on google search after one year and there is no site link if searched “abbotsford punjabi church” on google (https://prnt.sc/sjy495). Today, we deleted the old sitemap with 0 url discovered and submitted new one but new is also showing 0 discovered url (https://prnt.sc/sjy9n7).

    I have read many articles on google forum but nothing is making sense so far. Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong and if anything need to be changed? I think it has to do something with 301 redirect based on internet forums discussions but I don’t know how to fix this.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @paulswebca

    Upon checking, it looks like the Yoast SEO sitemap that you submitted was detected by Google Search Console and is working as expected.

    Unfortunately, your question is outside the scope of the support we provide. Giving SEO advice, in most cases, requires a deep analysis of your site to provide accurate advice for your specific setup, even for what may seem to be a simple question.

    At Yoast, we want to help people improve their site and to make SEO attainable for everyone. So we offer Yoast Academy courses on all aspects of SEO, several great plugins, and a comprehensive SEO blog

    We understand that not everyone has the interest or time to learn SEO. Our main advice at this point would be to check for a local SEO company and see if they can help out. If you are using a web development agency, you could ask them, as most agencies have at least a basic understanding of SEO as well – the good ones do.

    Hello Michael,

    Thank you for replying. I checked search console, it is still showing 0 url discovered with /sitemap_index.xml (https://prnt.sc/slznp5).

    So I added all sitemaps and it discovered all the urls but main sitemap does not seem to work. https://prnt.sc/slzo7y

    @paulswebca

    We can see the sitemap is getting outputted correctly here: https://abbotsfordpunjabichurch.com/sitemap_index.xml. We are not sure why Google is showing 0 URLs when Yoast is outputting the sitemap correctly.

    We suggest contacting Google for more information as Yoast is outputting it correctly. There is nothing on your site that would prevent Google from indexing the rest of the content. You may contact Google by making a post on their forums: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/webmasters.
