Hi @ximie90,
To better understand the issue, can you please share your XML sitemap link or the URL of your site?
Also, can you confirm if you are using the latest Yoast SEO 9.2.1?
Hi @jerparx,
The domain is Capsinol.fr
We had a main website with multiple languages. Now FR will be split of to its own domain, different owners/shop keepers behind it. So we made a copy of the main site and disabled the other languages, made FR the primary. We will also disable FR on the main site and 301 all /fr/ to the .fr domain.
You cant get to the pages of the disabled languages. You will just get redirected to the similar FR page. So you should end up on the right page. But if I’m goin to add the xml sitemap to Google webmasters it seems to me a good idea to have it only the right content listed.
current version installed is 9.2.1
Hi Martijn,
If the pages are created in WordPress and have not been deindexed, then they will show up in the XML Sitemaps.
If you’d like them to get removed, please noindex these pages as in this guide.
Please let us know if you have any other questions or need any help.
Ok, with disabling the language I lost the ability to even see these pages in the admin menu. But I guess this is something I can take to WPML and see if they have a solution for it. Thanks for the help.
