    Hi,
our host uses Litespeed cache for server side caching. This is a report just to let you know that the sitemap xml as provided by All in One SEO is not compatible with the Litespeed cache crawler, which is a shame, it would be really handy if it was (now we have to manually make sitemaps using a separate site to feed into the crawler).

    Hey @rik1234,

I have a couple of questions, if you don’t mind.

    1. I’m assuming you’re referring to this plugin – https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/litespeed-cache/?
    2. Are you using a LiteSpeed, Apache or nginx web server?
    3. Are you able to explain in more detail why it is not compatible?

    1. yes correct
    2. I do not know, shall i ask my hosting provider? It is Kualo (kualo.co.uk)
    3. in the ‘Crawler’ option of the Litespeed Cache plugin, under tab [6] Sitemap settings, i can enter a custom URL for the sitemap, so that the Litespeed crawler crawls all the pages. I have tried entering the all-in-one sitemap xml link there, https://future-fund.org/page-sitemap.xml , but the plugin does not accept it – it does not result in any pages in tab [2] Map. I think it is because the all-in-one sitemap is not in the standard Google XML format.
We now manually make a sitemap using https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ and upload it to our files, but it would be much handier if we could enter the all-in-one sitemap here and if it was maintained automatically as we add pages to our site.

@rik1234 it’d be great if you could ask. The more information we have, the easier it is for us to investigate this and find a fix. In the meanwhile I’ve gone ahead and created an issue on our end so we can follow up.

hi, in response to 2, our host answered:
We are using the LiteSpeed Web Server (LSWS) as a web service for all of our servers.

Thanks, I’ve updated the issue. We’ll investigate this as soon as possible.

    Hey @rik1234,

Just wanted to let you know that we have worked on this together with the LiteSpeed Cache plugin team and that they have a fix for this on their end which will be included in their upcoming 4.2 release.

    Hey @rik1234,

Thank you, I appreciate you saying that! You can always leave us a review here if you like – https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/all-in-one-seo-pack/reviews/. A review really helps us getting our plugin out there.

    Regards!

Version 4.4.5 of LiteSpeed cache re-introduced this error – AIOSEO XML sitemaps again return the error “No valid sitemap parsed for crawler”

@andrewgrill I’ve confirmed this and let them know. You can keep track of the ticket here – https://github.com/litespeedtech/lscache_wp/issues/372
