Sitemap.xml shows error page

Dear support.

For my client website i use Slim SEO free version plugin.
Suddenly my sitemap.xml page does’nt work anymore and shows the following error page with message:

This page contains the following errors:

error on line 2 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

Can you please tell me how to fix this or is is a bug in Slim SEO plugin?

I have had no problems with this for a long time with Slim SEO plugin.
