Hi Jaime,
The sitemap path shouldn’t be affected by Hide My WP Ghost plugin. Only the paths within the sitemap.
See if you get the same error when Hide My WP is deactivated.
Yoast has a solution for sitemap issue:

Hope this helps,
John
Thank you for responding so quickly. I really appreciate that.
Really strange. yesterday I got a 404 with your plugin. I then decided to deactivate the function, and it went back to normal.
Today again I activate the function of your plugin and it seems that everything is normal.
Apparently it could be a cache problem, which has solved itself.
One last favor, when I enter with the URL of the system I get a page whose header says:
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
Is this OK?
Thank you in advance for your answer
Yes, it’s normal to show this message if you activated the option:
Hide My WP > Tweaks > Feed & Sitemap > Change Paths in Sitemaps XML
https://hidemywpghost.com/kb/activate-security-tweaks/#fix_sitemap_xml
The option hides the sitemap author and changes the image and video paths but the sitemap remains valid for Google.
Glad that the plugin is working for you. Most of the time it’s from the cache which need to be cleared in order to load the new paths.
Excellent support, excellent plugin. I will not hesitate to purchase the pro version when I deem it necessary. I have rated it 5 stars.
Thank you.
