    Hi Barbara

    Thanks for reaching out.

If you run a plugin conflict test in the future you can make progress by seeking a working baseline. Unfortunately, not much will happen by deactivating and reactivating plugins. In this case, the test would be to temporarily deactivate all plugins except for SiteOrigin plugins. In that state, check the issue, if the issue does not persist then you know a plugin is involved in the problem and can reactivate your plugins, one by one, checking for the issue after each activation to find the conflicting plugin.

The issue here is the plugin Give a Hand is calling a function no longer included in WordPress. The error prevents other plugins from using JavaScript on the page. You can patch the issue by installing a plugin called jQuery Migrate Helper from Plugins > Add New.

    Hi,

thanks for the super quick answer. Plugin conlict test: That’s what I did – step by step checking the state.

I downloaded and activated the recommended plugin. It worked. Thanks a lot. I will contact the developers of “give a hand” and let them know.

    Thanks!!!

Thanks for confirming. I sometimes hear “deactivated and reactivated all plugins” and am not sure if a baseline was established and the test run as required which is why I went through it. If a working baseline can’t be found, the test has failed.

Glad to hear jQuery Migrate Helper did the trick!

    Cheers for now 🙂
