Hello,
I have tried a few booking plug ins, but i like Skedmaker the best in looks and the functionality i need. Unfortunately it does not show correctly on my site.
See: http://www.ergoidee.nl/calendar/
Could you advise me how to fix this?
Kind regards,

Hi there, sorry for the delay in my reply. I have been busy lately and have not been able to check the forums. I think the error has to do with how your page names are set up. Skedmaker works best when they are det to default or perma link. go to the admin page and select “Settings”, then “Permalinks” Select “Post name” or “Default” and see if this helps you. Let me know I’ll do what I can to get it working for you!
I have made an update to the system. That checks to see what type of Permalink Settings you have. I do not think it will cover all types of settings, but if you update the plugin to version .95 it may resolve your issues with the 404. Let me know if this works for you or if I can help you with anything.
Hi there,
Thanks for your help, unfortunately the problem persists.
My permalinks settings are always on post name, changing them to defoult made no difference. I have tried disabling some add ons that are permalinks related, but that made no differece too.
Sorry to be a bother.
It’s not a bother at all! I’ll do what I can to help. 🙂 I’m just really stumped at why it is doing these errors on some sites and most it works perfectly fine.
You have the schedule on a “Page” right? not a “Post”?
Can you open your database and check something…? go to the table that is called “wp_options” then check the row that is called “permalink_structure”. Can you tell me what it says there? The code is trying to read some info from your WordPress tables on how your permalinks are set up and it is not finding anything. Let me know, I’ll do my best to get this working for you.
Hey Guys,
This also is an issue for me, see:

I would love to get this resolved and help donate to your time and efforts!
Thank you,

Hi baxters,
This is definitely an issue with you permalink settings. The database query is looking for something in your WP settings that is not there. This is why it is spitting out the errors. On the WP admin dashboard, can you click on “Settings” then select “Permalinks”. Check off ‘Default’ and see if that fixes it. Failing that… I don’t presently have a fix. I wish I could come up with an answer, but I cant seem to recreate the issue on my end. and that makes it hard to trouble shoot. That doesn’t mean I’m not trying to fix it though! 🙂 If you would like, I can try and see how your site is set up. If you want to email me, I would be more than happy to help you out. You can use the contact form here to send me your email info if you like: http://www.skedmaker.com/index.php?op=contact& I’ll definitely do what I can to help out.hey baxters, let’s try something…
Download the zip file here: http://www.skedmaker.com/sm-functions.zip
unzip it and replace the file “_include/sm-functions.php” with this file.I would rename the original sm-functions.php to sm-functions-backup.php or something — just in case you need to revert back to it. Then upload the new sm-functions.php.
Since it looks like your schedule is actually working fine, I can navigate around, click appointments and (just throwing out error messages for a setting that it’s not finding) I tured off the error messaging for that function. I tried to send a test appointment notice. But it looks like the error content is being fed into the form action. So the new sm-functions.php file may fix this too.
Please let me know if this works, I’d love to get this resolved! Also, you can contact me on the link above if you wish to go that route.
marking as resolved.
I am new to both WordPress and Skedmaker .97. I had no problems setting up Skedmaker but apparently I am not understanding what needs to be inserted onto the SC Appointment Calendar page (not post). Please see link:

My settings are on post name. Hoping someone can help.
Hello. The shortcode to insert on the page is – [wp-skedmaker]
Also be sure you have a php enabling plugin installed.
One such as “Allow PHP in Posts and Pages” https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/allow-php-in-posts-and-pages/Hope this helps.
Resolved. Thank you!
You are very welcome.
