I believe that’s out of the scope of the free GeneratePress theme support forum.
It would require more than just CSS to make it work properly which why we have the add-on for it.
You could try using plugins though: https://en-ca.ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/sticky-menu-or-anything-on-scroll/

That plugin is definitely your best bet.
Otherwise you would need to implement custom javascript.
