I click on Activate. After it’s done activating, I click on Settings (from the plugins page) and I get “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

I go back to the Admin url and click on Audit Log in the left Menu on the Dashboard, then I get the Opt-in dialog with a choice to Skip or Allow & Continue.

If I click on Skip, I get “The link you followed has expired”.
It I click Please try again, I go back to the opt-in dialog and that cycle goes on ad vitam eternam

If I click on Allow & Continue, it works…. Now, what if I don’t want to share anything?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thank you for your message @bbedardschreiber

There is definitely a problem because you should be able top opt-out without any issues and the Opt-in dialogue should not be showing up.

Most probably the issue is being caused because the plugin (and website it is being installed on) does not have access to https://wp.freemius.com and https://api.freemius.com, which is required to confirm that you want to opt-out or in.

If this is a new install, can you please try the following and advise?

    1) Deactivate the plugin.

    2) Delete the table wp_wsal_options in your WordPress database to delete all the plugin settings.

    3) Allow the website temporariy access to https://wp.freemius.com and https://api.freemius.com.

    4) Activate the plugin.

Now you should be able to access the plugin and get a small prompt asking you to opt-in or out but you can still use the plugin. Opt-out (or in, whichever you prefer) and then you can close access again.

Can you please let us know if the above works for you?

Hello @bbedardschreiber I can confirm that we have finally nailed this issue in the latest update of the plugin (3.4.2).

Please try it and should you encounter any issues do not hesitate to get in touch.

    Have a good day.
