Hey there

I want to skip sitekit by Google for tracking my stories as it doesn’t work sometimes. Also I can’t deactivate sitekit as it’s used for tracking traffic on AMP pages. Is there a way to skip sitekit for analytics and directly add UA code for web stories?

@shabbirsadriwala Hello! Thanks for reaching out. We don’t currently support it as the plugin automatically detects the Analytics tracking ID on site when using the Site Kit plugin. We do have an open feature request for this though. You could try this mini-plugin to add a compatible analytics code. You will just need to replace the tracking ID in the code.

2. Click on Download zip
3 . Open file and replace with your own Tracking ID
4. Navigate to WordPress Plugins > Add new > Upload plugin > Choose file > upload the file you downloaded from GitHub above > Install Now.
