I am using WP Fusion to control access to courses and lessons, so I don’t need Access Plans. I don’t want the courses to show “FREE” or “Lifetime Access”. I can get rid of those if I delete the Access Plan, but then people cannot Enroll, which seems to be required to access the lessons. So…although it’d be nice for them to “Enroll”, can I somehow eliminate the requirement for them to enroll before accessing the lessons?

Thanks for any solution to my problem.

  • Hi @rmdb

You can decide to make the lesson free and using CSS to hide the “free” sticker. You can learn how to do this with CSS here: https://lifterlms.com/docs/css-structure/

    Thank you 🙂

Thanks @jnr4u2 Toyin…that might be a workaround, but that would still require a person to Enroll in a course in order to, for instance, look at the first lesson (which we make available to anyone so that they can sample the content of the course). I really just need to eliminate the mandatory “you must be enrolled in order to view the lesson”. I am taking care of that restriction via WP Fusion, so I don’t need Lifter to handle it.

So I think that’s ultimately what I need…to remove the mandatory enrollment to see lessons. If anyone has a suggestion that’d be great!
    Thanks!

    Hi @rmdb

You can make the lessons free and this would not ask for enrollment details. This is the default behaviour with LifterLMS.

We have a guide here that may help: https://lifterlms.com/docs/make-lesson-course-free-not-require-log-view/

    Thank you 🙂

Since I haven’t heard back from you in a week I’m going to mark this thread as resolved. Don’t worry, if you have more questions or still need help just hit reply and let me know!

    Have a great day!
