  • Hi Geoff, when you add an image to the slideshow did you also check the following option Alternative Text at the bottom of the image you added?

Hi mbrsolution and thanks for your reply.

Yes, each slide has that field completed. Upon looking at the generated source code for the page it appears to only work for the first image in the slideshow.

Slides 2, 3, 4 and 5 are taking the alt attribute and title tag from the image name.

Have a look yourself, you will see the slideshow towards the bottom of the source code in my home page 1066 Print Shop

    Thanks

    Geoff

Hi Geoff, yes you are correct. Do you have a cache plugin installed? If you do can you delete the cache and try again? If you don’t have a cache plugin, can you disable all your other plugins excepts this one and carry out a test.

Instead of playing with the live site I have tried on a fresh install of WordPress elsewhere. No plugins whatsoever (except yours) and just the 2016 theme. Same thing happens with the alt attributes.

    Any ideas?

Thank you for reporting back. The plugin developer will have to investigate further your issue.

    Kind regards
