Hi You have a great plugin and you seem to have many features that other gallery plugins do not. I especially like the migration feature. Is the pro trial only the basic plan or the plus? Because it seems that it’s missing some of the advanced customization features like custom css.

In regards to the slider. There is an issue with text alignment for the title and description. The title aligns center the description does not. Some added features that would match other sliders and make yours stand out. First a slight overlay on the thumbnail navigation with only the active slide showing without an overlay also the addition of navigation arrows on either end. It already acts as if they were there but could get confusing for people who do not know this.

Next the ability to add title and description below the main slide so the image is not obscured by them. I tried adding the padding feature for this which worked on the desktop but caused the image to be to small on mobile. It would require some additional div tags below the image to achieve this.

Next the ability to move the controls like play, pause , full screen and counter to the bottom or below the thumbnails instead of on top with also the ability to move them left, right and center.

These features are important to my workflow which I have but the current slider I use is somewhat outdated and hasn’t been updated in years.

    Hi @robdev8 ,

Thank you for the kind words and for taking the time to share your feedback. We really appreciate the detailed suggestions.

    1. If you can’t see the Custom CSS section, please check the Screen Options on the gallery edit page and make sure the Custom CSS panel is enabled. https://imgur.com/a/IUy52kE
    2. Regarding the slider text alignment, the description is currently designed not to be centered by default. However, you make a good point, and having a separate option to control the description alignment would certainly provide more flexibility.
    3. As for the thumbnail overlay and navigation arrows, we’ll review what’s possible with the slider library we use. If it supports these features properly, we’ll consider designing and implementing them.
    4. For the title and description placement, there is already a Position option available in the Typography section. You can set the content above instead of top, or below instead of bottom, depending on your preferred layout, which helps avoid covering the image. https://imgur.com/a/nYtmaxK
    5. We will also consider adding an option to change the position of the control buttons (play/pause, fullscreen, counter) between the top and bottom of the slider. Most likely, if implemented, this would be a single setting that affects all controls together rather than individual positioning for each button.

Thank you again for the suggestions. They are valuable and align well with the type of flexibility we want to provide in future updates.

    Hi Hakob

You’re right the custom css was in screen options however every time I click update after changes it gets hidden and I have to re toggle it on and off.

I was able to correct the description alignment with custom css and changed it to below instead of bottom and now displays correctly as I wanted. However the margin between the slide and the text was a little to much so I adjusted that also with custom css. It doesn’t make sense to me to have one text centered and one to the left.

I was able to move the control buttons to the bottom next to the centered text with some custom css also. It would be nice to possibly have them below the thumbnails.

With Lightbox going fullscreen no arrows are showing. Also the controls go all the way to the left and right. It would be nice to add a margin so they’re closer to the slider.

It’s getting much closer to exactly how I wanted it than any other plugin I’ve tried.

That’s it and thanks for your time.

    Hi @robdev8 ,

Thank you for the detailed feedback and for sharing your findings.

The issue with the Custom CSS panel disappearing after updating the gallery does not appear to be expected behavior. We will reproduce it on our side and include a fix in an upcoming update.

Regarding the title and description alignment, we agree that the current behavior could be improved, and we will review it to make the presentation more consistent.

We also appreciate all the additional suggestions you’ve shared throughout this discussion. They are valuable insights, and we will discuss them with the development team as we continue improving the slider experience.

We’re glad to hear that Re Gallery is getting much closer to exactly what you’re looking for.

Thank you again for your time and feedback.

    • Improved active thumbnail highlighting in the thumbnail navigation of Slider Layout and Lightbox.
    • Fixed description alignment when using the Typography Alignment option in Slider Layout and Lightbox.
    • Fixed the issue where the Custom CSS section could disappear from the gallery edit page.

Thank you again for your feedback and suggestions. They helped us identify and prioritize these improvements.
