    Theme: Divi
    WordPress: 6.1.1
    Smart Slider Pro: 3.5.1.12
    PHP: 8.1
    Slider Type: Dynamic Content

After using Smart Slider on a site for a few years now, the slider for the last couple of months disappears from time to time. The only caching that’s enabled on the site (for now) is Flywheel’s caching (and has been since using this plugin). What’s queer, however, is that when I go into the Module Settings to see which Slider is selected, there are TWO sliders but only ONE in the Smart Slider app (possible dbase corruption?).

    • I’ve done an “Analyze & Repair” (not that I see anything happening when clicking on it)
    • Cleared hosting cache
    • Cleared Smart Slider Cache
    • Switched to the Code Block with Shortcode instead of the Smart Slider Module for the theme and the same thing happens–no slider.

    Anything else I should try?

    Hi @toad78

Generators only produce slides if there’s any dynamic data to pull, and sliders only display if they have slides. So I find it possible that your slider doesn’t display because the generator doesn’t create any slides. About having two sliders: the Pro version have a feature called “slider group” which can contain other sliders. So on the Dashboard you might only see the group, but when you try to publish it, you can see both the group and the slider inside.
